Original PEI paintings by June Ellis
Original paintings, fine art prints and custom commissions inspired by the Island June has called home all her life.
Island inspired, Island made
The beautiful scenery on Prince Edward Island excites and inspires me. I like to capture these scenes in soft colours in my realistic oil and acrylic paintings. The soft colours are my trademark. I want to bring peace, calm, and joy to whoever views and purchases my artwork.
I grew up on a family farm with seven siblings on Prince Edward Island, and my husband and I later bought a farm of our own. In 2000 I began taking art classes and loved it the minute I started. Since retiring from full-time work with the provincial government in 2015, I paint most days in my own art room.

What collectors say
I wanted something that captured my love of Prince Edward Island and made me feel like I was there, and this painting was everything I wanted. It arrived super quickly for having to make it all the way from P.E.I, to Georgia. It was wrapped extremely well, and arrived in perfect condition.
This print is gorgeous. I feel so lucky to have discovered this lady slipper print and artist. The artist was quick to respond to my questions and shipping was prompt.
