Commissions
How do you start a custom painting commission?
Send June your idea and any reference photos. She will talk with you about the subject, size, and details before she begins.
How long does a commission painting take?
Timing depends on the size, detail, and my current schedule. I will confirm the timeline before I begin your commission.
Can I request a painting based on my own photo or memory?
Yes. Photos and personal memories are a great starting point. Share your idea, and I will help shape it into a painting.
How much does a commission painting cost?
Pricing varies by size. As a guide: small (8x10 to 11x14) runs $350 to $550, medium (12x16 to 16x20) runs $650 to $950, and large (18x24 and up) starts at $1,000. Final pricing depends on complexity, reference photo, framing and timing.
Ordering and shipping
Do you ship, and what does it cost?
Yes. Orders are sent through Canada Post and should take approximately seven business days. Free shipping applies to purchases shipped within Canada, shipping to the USA is a flat $30, and international destinations are quoted per order. Any customs or border charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
Can I send a painting directly to someone else as a gift?
Yes. Let me know in the notes in the cart section and I can attach a gift note from you with what you would like to say.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards, PayPal and e-transfer, with offline payments available by arrangement.
Returns and exchanges
Can I return a painting or print?
Contact me within 14 days of delivery and return the item within 30 days of delivery. Because of the nature of custom work, custom or personalized orders are not returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If a product arrives damaged, email me photographs so we can discuss further arrangements. The buyer is responsible for shipping the item back to me.
Prints and framing
What sizes do prints come in?
Prints are available in 5x7 inch and 8x10 inch. If a larger size is not listed, please contact me and ask.
Do paintings come framed?
Some originals are framed and say so in their listing, and framing is available for commissions at extra cost. Many pieces arrive ready to hang.
